An unprecedented collaboration between the United States and Brazil that celebrates faith and unity through music.

American singer Naomi Raine, known worldwide for her career with the GRAMMY Award–winning group Maverick City Music, and Brazilian artist Sued Silva, one of the main rising voices of the new generation of gospel music, have come together for a historic project: a song recorded in Portuguese in New York.

 

The recording took place at Fresh Church, in New York City, during a special session that brought together professionals from both countries. The track — set to be released later this semester — marks Naomi Raine’s first time singing in Portuguese, symbolizing a bridge between two worship movements that have deeply impacted contemporary Christian music.

“It was such a special moment. Singing in Portuguese made me feel closer to Brazil — a country I’ve always admired for the passion with which it worships God,” shares Naomi Raine.

For Sued Silva, the partnership represents more than just a feature; it’s a move of unity and covenant.

“This recording in New York was prophetic. God is connecting nations, sounds, and hearts. Being able to share this moment with Naomi was an experience that marked my life,” says Sued.

With musical direction by Alex Usungu — producer for Naomi Raine — the song brings a captivating sound and lyrics that exalt God’s presence in a tender and powerful way. The official music video, filmed partially at Fresh Church, is set to be released soon.
